Crisis Intervention

 

  • All staff is trained in Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) procedures and receive training yearly.

  • Crisis Intervention Staff are available to de-escalate out of control behavior.

  • Our goal is to respond to all situations in ways that minimize disruption to other students. 

  • We encourage the use of “personal time-outs”

  • We operate on a “Professional response” vs. “Natural response.”
